Royalty Free Stock Footage is available in two formats , DV NTSC and Multimedia stock video clips. There is a sample of each stock footage formats available for a FREE download for your evaluation.

1. DV NTSC royalty free footage, 720 x 480 @29.97 fps, formatted correctly for viewing on an NTSC or TV monitor (when viewed on a computer screen this file will appear slightly elongated). We try to keep this file as close to what came out of the camera as possible. This Mini-DV footage was captured using Final Cut Pro®, adjusted for brightness, color or speed (when appropriate) and exported as DV NTSC. The DV codec is about 34 megabytes for a 10 sec clip. Quicktime Movies®. DV NTSC stock video clips are available on DVD ROM or downloadable.  

2. Multimedia royalty free footage, 320 x 240 @30fps, formatted correctly for viewing on a computer screen. We try to keep this file as small as we can, while still providing a clip that you can compress without noticeable loss in quality. This file began as MINI DV FOOTAGE. It was captured in FinalCut Pro®, adjusted for brightness, color or speed (when appropriate) then exported using one of several codecs. Quicktime Movies®.

How to view the clips:

MAC - Viewing clips with the QuickTime® Player

If you have an Apple computer you already have an installed Apple® QuickTime® Player. To preview a clip using the player, copy the clip to your hard disk. Because each clip is a QuickTime® movie, you can view it by double-clicking a clip's icon or you can drag a clip onto the QuickTime® Player icon.

WINDOWS - Viewing clips with the Windows® Media Player

If you have a Windows® based computer you already have an installed Microsoft® Windows® Media Player. To best preview a clip, simply copy it to your hard disk. Then drag a clip onto the Windows® Media Player icon. In the Media Player, if you want to view the clip at full-size, select View > Zoom > 200.
